Privacy & Terms.

The following is stored locally on your device and never leaves it unless you choose to back it up:

• Qadha prayer records
• Fasting records
• Dhikr and durood counts
• Quran reading progress
• Achievements
• App settings

DeenSync can send you optional reminders — a daily hadith and gentle nudges about your Qadha progress. These notifications are created entirely on your device from data already stored there; their content is not sent to us or to any third party.

On Android 13 and later the app asks for notification permission, and you can turn notifications on or off at any time from the app's Settings or your device settings.

If you choose to back up, you sign in with your Google account. We use it only to save and restore a backup file in your own Google Drive.

We request the limited “drive.file” permission, which lets the app access only the files it creates — we cannot see any of your other Drive files. Your backups stay in your Google Drive, under your control, not on our servers, and you can delete them at any time.

The free version of DeenSync shows ads through Google AdMob. To provide ads, AdMob may collect your device advertising identifier and related data. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland you will be asked for consent for personalized ads.

You can remove all ads permanently with a one-time in-app purchase. See Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy for more.

The optional “Remove Ads” purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

DeenSync does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with Google as needed to provide the features you use:

• Google Sign-In & Drive — backup
• Google AdMob — ads
• Google Play Billing — purchases

Each is governed by Google's own policies.

On-device data remains until you delete it. You can delete your data by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app, and you can delete cloud backups from your Google Drive at any time.

DeenSync is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Backups are transmitted to Google Drive over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. On-device data is protected by your device's security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and within the app.

DeenSync is a personal tool to help you track and make up missed prayers (Qadha), fasts, dhikr, and Quran reading. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

You are responsible for your data and for keeping your own backups. We are not responsible for any loss of data, including issues arising from Google Drive, your Google account, or your device.

The free app is supported by ads. You may remove ads through a one-time purchase. Purchases are handled by Google Play, and refunds are subject to Google Play's policies.

You agree to use the app lawfully and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt it.

The app, its design and content are owned by HFZY Developments. Quranic text and hadith are drawn from their authentic sources and remain the heritage of the Ummah.

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HFZY Developments shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
